Designed to Reinforce Mental Well-Being

Safe Space Sessions (SSS) are guided support circles under BrainHealth that provide a safe, structured space for participants to connect, reflect, and support one another. These sessions are designed to reinforce mental well-being through shared experiences, guided discussion, and facilitated reflection.

 

SSS are part of BrainHealth activities and are aligned with the Well-Being Atlas, giving participants the opportunity to learn key concepts and immediately apply them in daily life

Who is it for?

PSSGs are suitable for a variety of audiences seeking structured psychosocial support:

Maritime Students

It is also suitable for maritime students managing academic pressure and training demands.

Maritime Seafarers

This service is intended for maritime crews adjusting to maritime life and routines and groups seeking peer connection and guided emotional support.

 

Private Corporate Groups

Designed for employees or teams seeking structured support for stress management, workplace challenges, and resilience-building.

Migrant Workers

Provides a safe space for workers away from home to share experiences, manage stress, and build emotional resilience.

 

Safe Space Sessions are conducted onsite and facilitated by trained mental health professionals.

Each session builds on the readings from the Well-Being Atlas better to support emotional processing, coping skill development, and community building.

Safe Space Session Support Tiers

Group size is limited to 5–15 participants per group to maintain quality engagement.

Basic Support

This tier provides an introductory support experience and is ideal for awareness-building or pilot initiatives.

  • Onsite delivery

  • 1 session only

Quarterly Support

This tier offers short-term continuity, allowing participants to reflect, reconnect, and apply coping strategies over time.

  • Onsite delivery

  • 1 session per month for 3 months

Semi-Annual Support

This tier supports sustained psychosocial development, deeper reflection, and stronger peer connections.

  • Onsite delivery

  • 1 session per month for 6 months

Annual
Support

This tier is designed for long-term support, ongoing skill development, and consistent community reinforcement.

  • Onsite delivery

  • 1 session per month for 12 months
